In summer, Grouse Mountain is a great playground for hiking. The hike up to the peak is fairly easy, but you can choose to go further for a more adventurous trip.

You can also take a guided interpretive walk on the mountain. You can learn about the wildlife and the history of the area. And if you want to experience a unique view of the mountains and the forest, you can book a helicopter tour.

Granville Island also offers a large marina, a distillery, and a large public market. These businesses generate approximately $215 million in economic activity annually.

Stanley Park

Stanley Park is one of Vancouver’s greatest attractions. Located in the city’s west end, this 400 hectare (1 acre) park features a number of cultural and recreational landmarks. It’s also a great place to relax and unwind, with kilometres of well-maintained trails and beautiful beaches.

Prospect Point is a great spot to take in the views of the North Shore mountains and Lions Gate Bridge. This vantage point is also the highest point in Stanley Park.

If you want to explore the park’s most famous feature, look no further than the “Lumbermen’s Arch” – a large arch made from three massive trees. The arch was first created in 1912 for a visit by the Duke and Duchess of Connaught. Since then, it has been replaced by a more minimal version.

One of the best ways to see Stanley Park is by bike. This allows you to get around the park quickly while still getting to check out the many sights. Several bike rental businesses are located just before the entrance.

In addition to the bicycle routes, Stanley Park is home to the largest aquarium in Canada. During the summer, this facility is open from the end of May through the end of September. There are two lighthouses in the park: Brockton Point and Prospect Point. Both have a walkway beneath the base.

Among the most popular areas of the park are the Second Beach and Third Beach. These sandy coves offer a range of activities for the whole family. During the warmer months, lifeguards are on hand to keep visitors safe. They are also a nice spot to watch a sunset.

Grouse Grind

Grouse Grind is one of Vancouver’s most popular hiking trails. It’s a challenging hike that combines exercise and scenery. You’ll climb up and down 2,830 stairs over a distance of 2.8 km.

Grouse Mountain offers a wide variety of activities in the winter and summer. The mountain is home to two orphaned grizzly bears. In addition to hiking, you can also try ziplining and skiing. And, the Grizzly Lookout Cafe serves sandwiches and muffins!

If you are looking for a scenic view, consider a ride on the Grouse Mountain Skyride. This 8-minute ride takes you to the Alpine Station, next to the Peak Chalet. From there, you can get a panoramic view of the city and the Gulf Islands.

If you’re looking for an adventure, you can also take a guided tour. There are several types of tours, including day trips, private groups, and even sleigh rides. During winter, the mountain is a popular ski destination.

Grouse Mountain offers an extensive list of activities, including guided and unguided tours, skiing, snowshoeing, and ice skating. For the most part, the cost of admission includes most of the activities.

Depending on the weather, the Grouse Grind may not be available. However, you can always take a ride down on the parkade’s lifts.

Grouse Grind is a great way to get an intense workout, but you must be fit. Although it’s not a long trek, you can expect to spend a minimum of an hour to reach the summit.
