What’s Your Favorite U.S. National Park?

Natosha

Hey, it’s been a whilst, hasn’t it? I really don’t believe I have written a blog write-up in a calendar year or so. I hope you’re all carrying out well in these insane periods. As normally, many thanks for studying.

I have a question: What is your favored U.S. Countrywide Park?

More than the past two decades, I have fallen in love with them.

Just before the pandemic, I had only frequented a handful of them, largely by incident. But when the pandemic hit, and it was protected more than enough to street-excursion, I drove all close to the region going to them.

Now I have viewed 15 out of 63. And someday, I’d like to see them all.

1st, there was Redwood National Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…

Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling sights of nuclear reactors…

Then Utah, property to some of the ideal national parks in the country: I visited Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.

Hiking the Canyons at Zion. I’d really like to do it all over again throughout the summertime!

Following Utah, I frequented Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Incredibly hot Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is exactly where I reside now.

Then there was Big Bend, Texas. The night sky is unbelievable there! You can see so quite a few stars.

Adopted by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…

And most recently, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier Countrywide Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even saw mountain goats.

I come to feel so lucky that I have gotten to see so a great deal of our attractive region in the previous several several years.

When I was more youthful, I centered entirely on intercontinental travel (this blog is not termed Ashley Overseas for nothin’). But around the past two years, I’m satisfied to report that I have gained a newfound appreciation for my own yard.

It turns out you really don’t have to fly halfway close to the world to go on an adventure.
